We self-perform structural concrete, structural steel, and site work. Everything else — mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes — is bid to long-standing partner subs, vetted by our PMs every project.

A twelve-story post-tensioned concrete office building in Portland's Pearl District. Halcrow self-performed all structural concrete — foundations, columns, post-tensioned floor plates, and the architectural exposed-aggregate ground-floor lobby walls.
Replacement of a fatigue-distressed 1958 steel girder bridge over the Cascade River, on State Route 20 in Skagit County. 1,840 linear feet, six girder spans, full deck. Halcrow erected all structural steel and self-performed the deck pour.
A 412,000-square-foot tilt-up concrete and structural steel distribution facility on a previously-unbuilt 28-acre site east of Boise. Halcrow self-performed site work, foundations, tilt-up panels, and structural steel erection. Delivered three weeks ahead of contract.
A four-story architectural cast-in-place concrete library in downtown Eugene, including a 38-foot-tall colonnade of exposed-aggregate columns at the main entry. Self-performed every yard of concrete and delivered $2.4M under final GMP.

Founded Halcrow & Sons in 1973 with a single concrete crew and a 1968 Mack truck. Now in semi-retirement, dean still meets with every PM monthly and visits every active jobsite at least twice.

Safety is the single non-negotiable metric we track every day. Every crew member receives OSHA-30 training before they set foot on a Halcrow job. Every superintendent runs a daily JSA. The numbers below are as of last Friday's report.
